I’m passionate about Neurosymbolic AI because it bridges intuitive learning and structured reasoning, reflecting how humans think. This piece visually expresses the harmony between biological cognition and mechanical logic. Viewed in portrait, the split design symbolizes collaboration between an organic brain and an artificial one. From a landscape perspective, background depicts a city skyline. In this view, the organic brain appears submerged and reconstructed as a technological one, suggesting a shift in how we may think in the future.

computer science in Brazilian culture
In 1993, Brazilian researchers at PUC-Rio created the Lua programming language, named “Lua” (Portuguese for “moon”) as a counterpart to their earlier “Sol” (sun) language. Born from Brazil’s unique 1990s market restrictions requiring domestic software solutions, Lua is a lightweight, embeddable language designed for real-world problems. Today, it powers major software projects such as World of Warcraft and Adobe Lightroom, as well as many embedded systems.
