Raimundo Saona Urmeneta is a mathematician from Chile who works on Game Theory from a computational perspective. His work connects discrete and continuous mathematics, and existence theorems to actual algorithms.
The theorem motivating this artwork bridges theoretical concepts with the practical solutions people use: it argues that, although practical solutions have limitations, we can still obtain theoretical guarantees. The comic style comes from my hobby. The excitement face is something I hope to show every day at work.

Chile is a place of earthquakes. You go there, you feel one. We measure them in the Richter scale, which is the logarithm of the amplitude of waves recorded by seismographs. The use of a logarithmic scale is given for every chilean: even if it is not obvious what it means exactly, we all feel what it means an earthquake of scale 7 or more.
