I am fascinated by how entanglement allows local actions to produce global behaviour. Matching tiles on opposite sides represent EPR pairs shared by Alice and Bob, while the coloured loops represent the links that let them coordinate a non-local strategy. If the loops are removed, the whole pattern breaks. I used recursion to suggest that simple operations can be composed into increasingly complex strategies: each local part changes, repeats and contributes to the global structure.

The whole changes with every local turn
mathematics in Spanish culture
For me, Granada expresses change through the geometry of the Alhambra. Its ornaments begin with simple mosaic units that are repeated after small changes in angle, orientation and position. These local transformations create extraordinary global patterns. The same local-to-global principle guides my research: in non-local quantum computation, separated parties combine local operations, shared entanglement and communication to reproduce global behaviour. In both cases, the parts create the whole.
